ORAL SURGERY
To follow the same procedure as the for Tooth Extraction but with additional recommendation as follow :
1.On the first day after the surgery, even if there is no swelling, it is recommended to apply cold pack (or ice wrapped in small towel) to the area of the face closest to the wound to help reduct swelling that will occur on the following days. However, do not suck in ice cubes.
2.The swelling usually start on the second day after the surgery and continue throughout the first week. During this time, limit strenuous sports and water sports.
3.Maintain soft diet during the first week.
4.Return to your dentist at the end of one week for surture removal (if indicated by your dentist).
